Fireware 11.12.4 is now available
We are pleased to announce the latest release of the WatchGuard core operating system and management software. Fireware 11.12.4 and WSM 11.12.4 are now available from the software download center. The Release Notes include a comprehensive list of resolved issues. This is primarily a release for bug fixes but there are a couple of key updates.

Hello WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud Users,

We are planning a brief system update on Sunday, May 21, 2017 between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM Pacific Time to deploy stability improvements to WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud services via WatchGuard.com. 

During the maintenance window, your access points will continue to function normally and client traffic will not be interrupted.  Access to Analyze will be intermittently unavailable for 30 minutes during the maintenance window.

Fireware 11.12.2 Update 1 is now available
This maintenance update includes some critical bug fixes and no new enhancements. The Release Notes include a comprehensive list of resolved issues. There is no corresponding Update 1 version of WSM 11.12.2

WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud update

Hello WatchGuard Wi-Fi Cloud Users,

We are planning a brief maintenance window on Saturday, April 29, 2017 between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM Pacific Time to update our Cloud environment as well as the Access Point firmware.  This update includes the following changes:

  • If an AP device is detected as operating from an unsupported region, the operating region for the AP device will be set to the USA (country code 841).
  • AP device software upgrades can now happen over port 443 in addition to port 80.

Threat Detection and Response Planned Service Update

Hello TDR Users,

On Thursday, March 23rd, 2017, at 3:00 PM PST for EU and 5:00 PM PST for Americas, we will release a new version of Threat Detection and Response (TDR). This update will bring performance enhancements and system upgrades.

Users can expect between 15-30 minutes of downtime for this maintenance window. TDR will continue to collect events from your deployed Fireboxes and Host Sensors. Those events will be analyzed once the downtime concludes. Users may need to log back into the system.
