Vincent Hwang

Chief Product Officer

Vincent Hwang is Chief Product Officer at WatchGuard Technologies. He leads the company’s product strategy and is focused on helping customers and partners simplify security operations and securely adopt cloud and emerging technologies through WatchGuard’s Unified Security Platform.

Prior to joining WatchGuard, Hwang was Vice President of Products and Solutions at Fortinet, where he led strategy for cloud security and cloud alliances, working closely with major cloud service providers. Earlier in his career, he held product leadership roles at Cisco, Sourcefire (now part of Cisco), Symantec, Trend Micro, and Bitdefender. At Cisco and Sourcefire, Hwang led advanced threat security initiatives, including early work in endpoint detection and response (EDR) and advanced malware protection, helping establish these capabilities as core components of modern enterprise security.

Hwang holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.
