Jay Lindenauer

Vice President, Network Security

Jay Lindenauer is WatchGuard’s Vice President of Network Security.

Jay has spent his entire career in a variety of product development capacities. Prior to joining WatchGuard, he worked at SafeNet and Gemalto as a Director and Vice President of Engineering for 7 years, responsible for commercial and government security hardware appliances and software.

Before joining SafeNet, Jay was the Director of Program Management for DSL semiconductor companies Virata, GlobespanVirata, and Conexant (which merged through a series of acquisitions). Jay started his career at IBM where he held numerous management and non-management positions in both mainframe and personal computer development.

Jay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Buffalo.
