Community Impact & Empowerment

Month of Giving

With one of our core values being focused on creating a sense of community, our executive leadership team is always looking for ways to enable employees to give back within their local neighborhoods and to the causes that mean the most to them. Each year, WatchGuard and our employees around the world participate in our month of giving program, which empowers each permanent employee to leverage one workday for a day of volunteering in their local community instead.

Since the program was started in 2016, WatchGuard employees have volunteered over 2,753 hours to over 104 organizations around the world. Here are just a few of the organizations our employees have helped to support!

Wellspring Baby Boutique, FareStart, YouthCare, PAWS, Bike MS, Food Lifeline, Treehouse, YWCA, EarthCorps and Lifelong

Annual Sales Kick-Off
Charity Competition

Our employees are passionate about finding ways to give back. During our 2020 Sales Kick-Off we encouraged our international sales team to participate in the event by sharing photos, commenting on posts and engaging with presenters throughout the event. At the end of the event, WatchGuard made a $10,000 donation to the following organizations based on points earned throughout the event by our employees:

Animal Welfare Institute
National Math + Science Initiative
Save the Children
Conservation International

The employee that earned the most points was also able to make a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice.

Women of WatchGuard (WoW)

Women of WatchGuard (WoW) was founded in 2020 to support and inspire women to advance professionally and personally through networking, mentoring and professional development opportunities.
