Telegamma Opts for WatchGuard’s All-in-One Unified Security

The Challenge

For over 40 years, Telegamma has worked on the consulting, design, installation, maintenance, and management of IT and network infrastructures for private companies and public agencies. 

The company’s journey began in Treviso, Italy in 1981, when it installed the city’s first private telephone exchanges. Its specializations expanded over time, resulting in Telegamma becoming a strategic partner for its customers’ business development, offering solutions and consultancy relating to unified communication & collaboration, the Cloud, networking, and IT security. Today, the company has a strong presence in northeast Italy, with four operational offices in Treviso, Padua, Trento, and Pordenone.

In 2000, Telegamma was moving ahead of the times by offering cybersecurity solutions when all-in-one approaches simply did not exist on the market.

The company had been on a long-term hunt for a brand that could unify firewall, inter-VLAN routing, network security, VPN, and endpoint security services using a simple interface, 

both for service configuration and log analysis, and that could offer advanced access services like multi-factor authentication (MFA). 

One of Telegamma’s critical requirements was that the vendor should offer a structured service with ready-made pre-sales support available, and be ready to grasp and anticipate market needs.

The Solution

Right away, Telegamma chose to offer its customers WatchGuard Firebox T Series and M Series firewalls. As the WatchGuard product offering expanded, Telegamma also added endpoint security and MFA solutions.
