Total Identity Security

It continuously scans breach databases for exposed workforce user credentials. When a match is found, administrators and affected users are alerted so passwords can be changed before attackers use them.

AuthPoint MFA protects the login. Total Identity Security also protects what happens between logins. If credentials are leaked in a breach, you know about it before anyone tries to use them. MFA alone cannot detect that.

Administrators receive an alert identifying the affected accounts and the breach date. When configured for it, affected users are notified directly so they can change their passwords immediately. All breach data is visible in WatchGuard Cloud for review and follow-up.

Microsoft Entra ID Protection includes leaked credential detection for users with password hash sync enabled. WatchGuard takes a different approach: it continuously monitors workforce user credentials across dark web, deep web, and breach databases using AI-driven intelligence, and can alert affected end users directly. Both approaches address credential exposure. Total Identity Security adds this alongside cross-platform MFA, passkeys, and zero trust policies.
