Product and Support News - Authentication

The WatchGuard Access is now in open beta for partners and customers. It is one app for Windows and macOS that works with AuthPoint, FireCloud, or both.

AuthPoint unifies sessions across SAML and OIDC apps for a smoother sign-in experience as users access the applications they need for their work.

AuthPoint adds User Inheritance for delegated accounts and strengthens RADIUS reliability with multi-region failover.

Passkeys for SAML in AuthPoint is now available. Enable FIDO2 passkey authentication for SAML resources where AuthPoint acts as the SAML Identity Provider.

Two AuthPoint updates are generally available today: External MFA for Microsoft Entra ID, and the redesigned AuthPoint mobile app for iOS and Android.

AuthPoint support for Entra ID External MFA (EAM) is coming in April 2026. This will allow cloud-only MFA for Microsoft aplications without local AD.

Join the AuthPoint mobile app beta! Try our modern new UI and the new Token Search feature. Find enrollment steps for iOS and Android on CenterCode.

AuthPoint now supports FIDO2 passkeys. Users now can authenticate to any OIDC application integrated through AuthPoint using passkeys, without a password.

We're excited to announce that Passkeys for OIDC in AuthPoint is now available in Open Beta.

Expand your security with the AuthPoint OIDC Beta and bring MFA to modern SaaS and custom apps.
