Endpoint Security Support for Legacy OS Extended Again – Now Through June 30, 2026
Because supporting your transition matters, we’re extending our support timeline one more time.
We previously extended the End of Life (EOL) date for endpoint protection on legacy Windows and macOS operating systems to June 30, 2025. Today, we're announcing another full year of extended support — now through June 30, 2026.
We understand that migrating from older platforms takes more time — and we’re here to support you. This extra year gives you more flexibility to plan, transition, and secure your environments.
Affected Operating System Versions:
- Windows: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 (Server 2008 R2 remains supported)
- macOS: Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra, and Mojave
What Happens on June 30, 2026:
- Licenses on devices running the above OS versions will be automatically removed
- These systems will no longer be eligible for license reassignment
Once licenses are removed, endpoints will have all protection features disabled, lose access to Collective Intelligence, stop receiving signature updates, and all assigned tasks will cease.
To stay protected, plan your customers’ migration well in advance and complete it before the deadline.
