Redefining WatchGuard Endpoint Security: The New Endpoint Portfolio.

WatchGuard is elevating its Endpoint Security portfolio to better align with today’s threat landscape and industry standards, and to foster growth.

The redefined portfolio offers four clear levels of protection, making it easier to choose the right level of security while ensuring strong protection from the start.

AI-powered EDR capabilities are now included in all tiers as the baseline, delivering advanced protection without added complexity. All tiers incorporate incident-centric detection, designed to reduce noise, accelerate root-cause analysis, and improve operational efficiency.

What is changing?
Each tier builds on the last, offering additional features and increased levels of protection.

  • WatchGuard EPP evolves to WatchGuard Endpoint Security Basic
An AI-Driven EDR solution that automatically stops threats with virtually no management.
  • WatchGuard Endpoint Security Prime is introduced as a new product
A full-featured EDR offering greater visibility and protection with minimal operational overhead.
  • WatchGuard EPDR becomes WatchGuard Endpoint Security 360
Adds Zero-Trust application control with deny-by-default enforcement for stronger protection and high operational efficiency.
  • WatchGuard Advanced EPDR becomes WatchGuard Endpoint Security Elite
Designed for advanced investigation, maximizing analyst productivity, and enabling deeper security management.

WatchGuard EDR and EDR Core remain unchanged.

When does this happen?
Beginning April 1, the new product names will appear across all WatchGuard Endpoint Security releases. New features and data retention periods will be reflected in the online help documentation.
