AuthPoint Application Portal New User Experience and End of Support for Internet Explorer

AuthPoint is releasing a new version of the Application Portal with a revisited and enhanced user experience, bringing a cleaner and more modern look and feel for accessing your web applications from a single, centralized portal using single sign-on, and accessing your self-service features, like request and activate tokens.

Besides the benefits of the user experience redesign, this version has technical enhancements that bring better performance and more security. To be able to provide the most updated security features, AuthPoint will no longer support the use of Internet Explorer (all versions) or Windows 8.1 to access the Application Portal.

Ending support for Internet Explorer impacts Windows 8.1/10, Windows Server, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, etc.) desktop applications.

Overall, if you haven´t done it yet, upgrade your operating system to a version of Windows 10 or above that Microsoft supports, and install and use a modern browser such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox.

Keeping our systems and technologies up to date is essential in our development and operations to guarantee our customers' security. Microsoft and most of the technologies used in WatchGuard products no longer support Internet Explorer, even for security updates.

Not updating our systems may expose both WatchGuard and WatchGuard's customers to unnecessary risks.
