Immediate Action Required - Update Your Firebox Now
WatchGuard has released new Firebox firmware that patches multiple critical security flaws. We urge you to upgrade all owned, managed, and client-operated Fireboxes immediately.
We have not seen any indication that these vulnerabilities have been exploited. In accordance with our responsible disclosure process and commitment to transparency about vulnerabilities, we have reserved the CVE IDs listed below. The following new versions are now available to download from the WatchGuard Software Downloads Center, WatchGuard Cloud, or the Firebox web UI. You should immediately update your Firebox appliance(s) to one of these versions or higher (if available):
- Fireware 2026.2.2 or higher
- Fireware v12.12.2 or higher
- Fireware v12.5.20 or higher
