IMPACT 2026: Introducing the Latest WatchGuard Security Innovations

At WatchGuard IMPACT North America 2026, we announced new products and capabilities across network security, secure Wi-Fi, cloud application security, managed detection and response, secure access, and agentic AI.

Several of these innovations are now generally available, while others are entering beta to gather feedback and help shape their continued development. Together, they extend the WatchGuard Unified Security Platform with stronger performance, broader visibility, and simpler security operations.

Now Generally Available

Firebox T175: More Performance in a Compact Tabletop Appliance

The new Firebox T175 delivers 2.35 Gbps of UTM Full Scan throughput, 10G SFP+ connectivity, multi-gigabit copper ports, and dual power inputs in a compact tabletop form factor. It provides greater security performance and modern connectivity for growing organizations and distributed environments without requiring a larger appliance.

Prime Security Suite: Advanced Protection and Greater Visibility

Prime Security Suite adds a new security option for Firebox customers seeking stronger protection and greater visibility. It includes APT Blocker sandboxing, DNSWatch malicious-domain protection, Shadow AI visibility, cloud management, and enhanced logging and reporting capabilities.

Prime Security Suite helps organizations strengthen protection against advanced threats while gaining clearer visibility into network and application activity.

WatchGuard AP340: Wi-Fi 7 for Modern Wireless Environments

The new WatchGuard AP340 brings Wi-Fi 7 performance, tri-band connectivity, 6 GHz support, and 10 GbE connectivity to the WatchGuard Secure Wi-Fi portfolio.

A dedicated scanning radio continuously monitors the wireless environment without reducing client capacity, helping administrators support more devices, identify issues faster, and manage wireless networks through WatchGuard Cloud.

CloudDR: Greater Visibility into Shadow IT and Shadow AI

CloudDR helps organizations discover and manage Shadow IT and Shadow AI across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and more than 40 supported SaaS applications. It provides visibility into connected applications, users, permissions, and vendor trust, with options to approve applications, remediate findings, revoke access, and automate responses.

FireCloud Integration with CloudDR

FireCloud is now available as an integration and Issuer Application in CloudDR. FireCloud telemetry extends discovery beyond OAuth-connected applications, helping reveal SaaS and AI services accessed from managed devices, including services used through personal accounts or outside the organization’s sanctioned SaaS environment.

These findings can then be reviewed and managed using CloudDR’s existing risk-assessment and remediation capabilities.

New MDR Client Dashboard and Reporting

WatchGuard MDR now includes an updated client dashboard and a new monthly report designed to provide a clearer view of security activity and risk.

The client dashboard presents threat detections, active investigations, vulnerability status, and trends in one place. The new monthly report combines endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and vulnerability information, including benchmarked KPIs, a CVE heatmap, remediation metrics, and security-hygiene insights.

Now Available in Beta

Beta features are under active development. Availability, functionality, and release timing may change based on testing and participant feedback.

The Rai Digital Workforce Is Expanding

WatchGuard is expanding Rai, its agentic AI Digital Workforce, with new ways to interact with security information, investigate incidents, assess security posture, support customer conversations, and connect WatchGuard intelligence with external AI workflows.

Hey Rai

Hey Rai provides a natural-language interface to the Rai Digital Workforce. Users can describe the outcome they need, and Rai applies the appropriate supported skills and expertise while keeping the user in control.

Rai Analyst: Incident Intelligence

Rai Analyst brings together security signals, evidence, affected assets, identities, and response activity to help users understand what happened, why it matters, what actions have already been taken, and what still requires attention. AI-generated incident and action summaries help reduce investigation and handoff effort.

Rai Auditor and Insights Hub Security Strength

Rai Auditor continuously evaluates supported WatchGuard-protected environments to identify protection gaps, prioritize risk, and guide security improvements. Security Strength provides a visible assessment of security posture and progress over time.

Rai Customer Success

Rai Customer Success combines relevant account, service, licensing, renewal, and security information to support customer updates, business reviews, renewal preparation, and value conversations.

MCP Integration

MCP Integration provides governed access to supported WatchGuard security data and capabilities from compatible external AI tools and workflows. This allows organizations to incorporate WatchGuard intelligence into the AI environments they already use.

Support Help Assistant

Support Help Assistant provides natural-language guidance across WatchGuard products, features, setup, workflows, and troubleshooting. It is designed to help users find relevant information and resolve operational questions more quickly.

WatchGuard Network Management

WatchGuard Network Management extends visibility beyond individual firewalls through automated infrastructure discovery, network topology, inventory, performance monitoring, alerting, reporting, and integrated diagnostics in WatchGuard Cloud.

The beta helps administrators understand what is connected, how devices communicate, and where network performance or availability issues may be developing.

Rai Insight Hub Application Risks

Application Risks introduces a new way to understand the potential security exposure associated with applications.

The beta brings together application classification, prevalence, delivery model, and exposure level, then connects that information to relevant WatchGuard protection technologies. This helps administrators identify applications that may require additional review and understand which security controls may help reduce the associated risk.

WatchGuard Access App

The WatchGuard Access App brings AuthPoint identity security and FireCloud secure access together through one client, one sign-in experience, and one portal.

Depending on the licenses deployed, users can verify their identities, access web applications, and connect securely to private resources. For administrators, the combined client simplifies deployment and support by reducing the number of separate access applications installed on endpoints.

FireCloud Network Access

FireCloud Network Access provides secure, cloud-managed access to private networks and network segments. It offers organizations a practical path to modernize remote access while continuing to use familiar IP-based resources.

The beta is designed to help customers begin moving from traditional SSL VPN access toward FireCloud without requiring every private resource to be redesigned around application-level access immediately.

Firebox Shadow AI Visibility

Firebox Shadow AI Visibility provides insight into activity in SaaS and AI applications observed via Firebox telemetry. Administrators can review applications discovered across protected networks and assess their potential risk.

Together with CloudDR and FireCloud, this capability supports broader visibility across cloud applications, managed devices, remote users, and network environments.

MDR Vulnerability Management

MDR Vulnerability Management brings network-based vulnerability scanning into the WatchGuard managed security experience. It helps identify known vulnerabilities and potential weaknesses across the customer environment, providing findings that can support remediation planning and ongoing security reviews.

This capability is currently being introduced as a beta service for WatchGuard MDR customers.

Coming in Spring 2027

WatchGuard will expand the Unified Security Platform with a new family of cloud-managed switches. Designed to simplify network deployment and management, the portfolio will include models for branch offices, wireless environments, and larger network deployments.

Continuing to Expand the WatchGuard Unified Security Platform

These releases strengthen the connections among network security, endpoints, identity, cloud applications, secure access, managed services, and AI-assisted security operations.

Generally available products provide immediate new options for deploying, managing, and monitoring security. The beta capabilities offer an early look at how WatchGuard is expanding visibility, simplifying operations, and using Rai to turn security information into practical action.

Beta participants are encouraged to test the new capabilities and provide feedback. Beta features may change before general availability.
