WatchGuard Fireware versions 2025.1.3, 12.11.5, and 12.5.14 Available Now

Today, we're pleased to announce the availability of Fireware versions 2025.1.3, 12.11.5, and 12.5.14, which provide some functional updates and address some bugs and known issues.

Upgrade Now and Stay Protected

We strongly recommend that all Firebox users upgrade to this update immediately. Upgrading to the latest versions of Fireware is simple. Complete upgrade instructions and the firmware can be downloaded from the WatchGuard Software Downloads page. If you have Fireboxes connected to WatchGuard Cloud, you can upgrade the firmware immediately or schedule the upgrade for a future time.

Notable enhancements in this release include:

  • Introducing support for Passwordless SAML Authentication for the SSL VPN, Access Portal, and Firebox Authentication Portal (port 4100) (Only for 2025.1.3 and 12.11.5)
  • A new SSL VPN client (SSL VPN 12.11.5) with enhancements to support new functionality and bug fixes.
  • Bug fixes and security issues have been resolved.
