Configure Network Services

On the Network Services page, you specify how WatchGuard Endpoint Security communicates with computers on the network and WatchGuard Cloud.

WatchGuard Proxy

On this tab, you define computers that act as a WatchGuard proxy to enable isolated computers with the endpoint agent installed to access WatchGuard Cloud.

We recommend that you configure a WatchGuard proxy only to enable isolated computers (those without an Internet connection, either direct or through a corporate proxy) to access WatchGuard Cloud.

For information on how to designate a computer as a WatchGuard proxy, see Designate a Computer as a WatchGuard Proxy . After you designate a computer as a WatchGuard proxy it can be added to the list of available proxies in a Network Settings profile. For more information, see Configure the Proxies List (Windows computers).

Cache

On this tab, you define computers that act as a cache for signature files, security patches, and other components used to update WatchGuard Endpoint Security installed on other computers and devices on the network.

For information on how to designate the cache role to a computer, see Designate a Cache Computer (Windows computers). After you designate a computer as a cache, you can add it to a network settings profile.

Discovery

On this tab, you define computers that discover unprotected computers on the network.
