Edit an AuthPoint User

Applies To: AuthPoint Multi-Factor Authentication, AuthPoint Total Identity Security This topic applies to accounts with an AuthPoint Multi-Factor Authentication license or AuthPoint Total Identity Security license.

You make edits to WatchGuard Cloud-hosted AuthPoint users from the WatchGuard Cloud Directory in Directories and Domain Services. You can edit this information for WatchGuard Cloud-hosted AuthPoint user accounts:

• First name
• Last name
• User name
• Email
• Group membership
• Address information
• Mobile number

You cannot make edits to users that are synced from an external user database. To edit information for users synced from an external user database, you must manage the user account in the external user database. To change the AuthPoint group of an external user, go to Change the AuthPoint Group of LDAP Users.

To edit a WatchGuard Cloud-hosted AuthPoint user account, in WatchGuard Cloud:

1. Select Configure > Directories and Domain Services.
2. Select the WatchGuard Cloud Directory.
3. Select Users.
4. Click the name of a user.
   The Edit User page opens.

5. Make changes to the user account. To edit the address information for the user, expand User Address.
6. To change which groups the user belongs to, select or deselect group names from the Groups list.
7. Click Save.
