Resend Activation Email

When you add a user to AuthPoint, they receive an activation email that includes a link to activate their token in the AuthPoint app on their mobile device. The activation email is valid for seven days. After that, the user cannot use the activation link and QR code in the email for activation.

If a user does not activate their token within seven days, you can send the user a new activation email so that they can activate their token. You can only resend the activation email to users that have a pending token.

Users can also activate tokens from the SSO authentication page. The activation link on the SSO authentication page does not expire. For more information, see Activate a Token.

Before you continue, make sure that the user account has a valid email address. If the email address for a user account is not correct, the user cannot receive the email message to activate a token.
