Authentication and Policies

You can create firewall polices to give users and groups access to specified network resources. This is useful in network environments where different users share a single computer or IP address. The WatchGuard Authentication (WG-Auth) policy is automatically added to your Firebox configuration when you add the first policy that has a user or group name.
