Administer the Firebox from Policy Manager
A configuration file includes all configuration data, options, IP addresses, and other information that makes up the security policy for your Firebox. Configuration files have the extension .xml.
Policy Manager is a WatchGuard software tool that lets you make, change, and save configuration files. You can use Policy Manager to easily examine and change your configuration file.
When you use Policy Manager, you can:
- Open a Configuration File , either open the configuration file currently in use on the Firebox, or a local configuration file (a configuration file saved on your hard drive)
- Make a New Configuration File
- Save the Configuration File
- Make changes to existing configuration files
