Configure Email Notifications for Service Providers

This feature is available only to participants in the WatchGuard Cloud Beta program.

As a Service Provider, you can create email notifications lists and notifications profiles at the Service Provider level so that you can configure email alerts that apply to multiple Subscriber accounts.

A notifications profile is a group of notification rules. When you assign a notifications profile to an email notifications list, the configured recipients receive email notifications for the configured Subscriber accounts based on the profile rules. For steps to create notifications profiles, go to Manage Notifications Profiles for Service Providers.

Your operator role determines what you can view and do in WatchGuard Cloud. Your role must have the Configure Notification Rules permission to configure this feature. For more information, go to Manage WatchGuard Cloud Operators and Roles.

Add an Email Notifications List

You can create up to 100 email notifications lists.

To create an email notifications list:

  1. From Account Manager, select Overview.
  2. Select Administration > Email Notifications.
    The Email Notifications page opens.

  1. Click Add Email Notifications List.

  1. In the Email List Name text box, type a name for the list.
  2. In the Recipients text box, type the email address for each recipient you want to include in the list. You can type multiple email addresses. Press Enter after each email address or separate the email addresses with a space, comma, or semicolon.
  3. In the Accounts text box, click Add Accounts.

  1. From the list of accounts, select each account or account group you want the email recipients to receive notifications from. Click Add.
  2. In the Notifications Profile box, click Select Profile.
    The Select Notifications Profile dialog box opens and shows a list of available profiles.

  1. From the list, select a profile.
  2. Click Save.

Edit an Email Notifications List

To edit an email notifications list:

  1. From Account Manager, select Overview.
  2. Select Administration > Email Notifications.
  3. Next to the list you want to edit, click The options menu button.
  4. Select Edit.
    The Edit Email Notifications List page opens.
  5. Update the list and click Save.

Copy an Email Notifications List

To copy an email notifications list:

  1. From Account Manager, select Overview.
  2. Select Administration > Email Notifications.
  3. Next to the list you want to copy, click The options menu button.
  4. Select Copy.
    The new email notifications list shows in the list.
  5. To change the list name, recipients, accounts, or to select a new profile, next to the new list, click The options menu button.
  6. Select Edit.
  7. Update the list and click Save.

Delete an Email Notifications List

To delete an email notifications list:

  1. From Account Manager, select Overview.
  2. Select Administration > Email Notifications.
  3. Next to the list you want to delete, click The options menu button.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. In the confirmation dialog box, click Delete.
