Cannot Uninstall AuthPoint Logon App

You cannot uninstall the AuthPoint Logon app. This might be because you cannot log in to the computer.

Symptoms

The Logon app cannot be uninstalled
The Logon app is partially installed or the installation is corrupted

Diagnostic Steps

Confirm the user has permissions to log in to the computer.
Confirm the user has permissions to add and remove programs.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Possible Cause	Solution
MFA prevents login to uninstall the Logon app	On Windows computers, boot the computer in Safe Mode to bypass the Logon app and log in, then uninstall the Logon app. For detailed steps to uninstall the Logon app in Safe Mode, refer to Uninstall the Logon App. On Mac computers, boot the computer in recovery mode and log in, then uninstall the Logon app. For detailed steps to uninstall the Logon app in recovery mode, refer to Uninstall the Logon App.
The Logon app only partially installed or the installation was corrupted.
