Manage Password Vault Sessions

The End Sessions feature enables you to remotely end specific password manager browser and app sessions to protect your data and prevent access to your password vault by unauthorized users.

When you end a session, that session logs out of the password vault immediately and must authenticate with your user name and vault password to log in again. You can also choose to log out from all websites, close all open tabs, and delete the browsing history for that browser session. You might do this if you forget to log out of your password vault on a shared device.

To see and manage all open sessions where your account is logged in to the password vault:

  1. Open the AuthPoint browser extension or AuthPoint mobile app and log in to your password vault.
  2. Open the menu and select End Sessions.
    The session on the device you are using has the label You.
  3. Select a session to see this information:
    • Device type
    • Device OS
    • IP address
    • Approximate location of the device (based on the IP address)

To end a password vault session:

  1. Click Power Icon next to the session you want to end. To end all open sessions at once, click End All Sessions.
    The End Session window opens.
  2. (Optional) If the session is for a web browser, select additional actions to take:
    • Delete cookies and log out from all websites
    • Delete history and close tabs
    • Delete bookmarks
    • Delete download history
  3. Click End Session.
