Log In and Log Out of WatchGuard Cloud

Log in to WatchGuard Cloud to start a new session and log out when you want to end the session. WatchGuard Cloud session length is a maximum of 8 hours. After 8 hours, you are required to log in again. After 13 minutes of inactivity, a dialog box shows a warning that your session will time out in 2 minutes. To continue your session, click Stay Logged In.
Your login credentials tell WatchGuard Cloud who you are and what permissions you have. For information on operator roles, go to Manage WatchGuard Cloud Operators and Roles.
Log In to WatchGuard Cloud
By default, operators use a password for authentication when they log in to WatchGuard Cloud.
For increased security, an operator account can have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled. When MFA is enabled for an operator account, the operator continues to log in to WatchGuard Cloud with their user name and password, but must also authenticate with their token in the AuthPoint mobile app. For more information, go to Enable MFA for WatchGuard Cloud Operators.
To log in to WatchGuard Cloud:
- Go to cloud.watchguard.com.
- Enter your WatchGuard User Name and Password.
If you enter the wrong password more than 10 times, you are locked out and cannot log in for at least 30 minutes. For accounts with MFA, you can specify the number of allowed login and authentication attempts on the AuthPoint Settings page. For more information, go to AuthPoint Settings. - Click Log In.
Log Out of WatchGuard Cloud
To log out of WatchGuard Cloud:
- In the upper, right corner of the WatchGuard Cloud window, click
.
The My Account menu opens.
- Click Log Out.
