Troubleshoot Local Settings That Differ From Management UI

Applies To: WatchGuard Advanced EPDR, WatchGuard EPDR, WatchGuard EDR, WatchGuard EPP, WatchGuard EDR Core

If the WatchGuard Endpoint Security settings on your computer differ from the settings in the WatchGuard Endpoint Security management UI, you can try to fix the issue with these steps:

  • Right-click the WatchGuard WatchGuard  system tray icon system tray icon and select Sync.
  • Use the PSInfo Force Sync tool to refresh endpoint agent communications.
  • Uninstall the endpoint agent from Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a Program. Reboot your computer and reinstall the program.

If the issue persists, from the endpoint computer, collect advanced logs and send them to Support. If you have to contact Support, you can use the PSInfo tool to provide diagnostic logs to help Support troubleshoot your issue. For more information, go to Get Started with PSInfo.
