Troubleshoot iOS Devices

When you install and use WatchGuard Endpoint Security app on an Apple iOS device, you might encounter an issue that you want to report to Support. The Support contact method for iOS depends on whether your iOS device registers in the Endpoint Security management UI.

Device Does Not Show in the Management UI

To report an issue when your device does not register in the management UI:

  1. Open the app on the iOS device.
    A configuration page opens on the device.

  1. Tap the page 7 times.
    The About page opens.
  2. From Send Logs to Support, in the Email text box, type an email address.
  3. In the Problem Description text box, type a description of the issue. If you already have a Support case number, type it in the description.

  1. Tap Send Report.
    The Support Mode page opens.
  2. Tap Send Report to send the report to Support.

Device Shows in the Management UI

To report an issue when your iOS device registers in the management UI:

  1. In the app on the iOS device, tap the About menu.
    The About page shows.
  2. From Send Logs to Support, in the Email text box, type an email address.
  3. In the Problem Description text box, type a description of the issue. If you already have a Support case number, type it in the description.
