Manage Searches in Data Control

Applies To: WatchGuard Data Control

In the Searches section of the WatchGuard Data Control dashboard, you can see previous searches. Information shown includes when the searches started and their status (In progress or Canceled). When a search is complete, there is no status.

From the options menuThe options icon. for each search, you can manage the search:

  1. In the row for the search you want to rename, click The options icon..
  2. Select Change Name.
  3. Type a new name.
  4. Click OK.
  1. In the row for the search you want to copy, click The options icon..
  2. Select Make a Copy.
    The Advanced Search page opens.
  3. Enter a new name.
  4. Modify search parameters, if required.
  5. Click Search.
  1. In the row for the search you want to delete, click The options icon..
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Click OK.
  1. In the row for the search you want to rerun, click The options icon..
  2. Select Relaunch Search.
    Data Control immediately relaunches the search.
  1. In the row for the in progress search you want to cancel, click The options icon..
  2. Select Cancel.
  3. Click OK.
  1. In the row for the search you want to edit, click The options icon..
  2. Select Edit Search.
    The Advanced Search page opens.
  3. Type a new name, if required.
  4. Modify search parameters, as required.
  5. Click Search.
