SafeSearch is a feature included in web browser search engines that enables you to filter out explicit content in search results. You can enable SafeSearch in DNSWatch configurations for these web browser search engines:
- YouTube
- Bing
- DuckDuckGo
When you enable SafeSearch for a search engine in a DNSWatch configuration, the strictest level of SafeSearch rules is enforced, regardless of the settings configured in the client web browser search engines. When you enable SafeSearch in a configuration, DNSWatch automatically redirects users to the SafeSearch versions of the selected search engines:
- Google — https://forcesafesearch.google.*
- YouTube — https://restrict.youtube.com
- Bing — https://strict.bing.com
- DuckDuckGo — https://safe.duckduckgo.com/
