Configure ConnectWise Integration for Reports

To integrate the reports generated by your WSM Report Server or Dimension with your ConnectWise server, you must configure your ConnectWise client and server to receive the necessary information from your WSM Report Server or Dimension. You must also configure your WSM Report Server or Dimension and Fireboxes to generate the correct reports and log messages, and send them to the correct ConnectWise server.

For your Fireboxes that run Fireware OS v11.12 and higher, you can configure ConnectWise integration directly on the Firebox. The enables you to automatically synchronize customer asset information for more efficient device management and monitoring. When you enable ConnectWise integration on your Firebox, you do not have to manually add your Fireboxes to a company account as described in this topic. For more information, see Integrate Your Firebox with ConnectWise.

For example, a WatchGuard partner who manages Fireboxes for different clients can generate daily reports of the activity on these Fireboxes to include in their ConnectWise reports. The partner can automate the report generation process and send a monthly summary report to each client.

When you configure your WSM Report Server or Dimension, you specify which WatchGuard reports to generate for ConnectWise integration. The available reports include Firebox Statistics, Intrusion Prevention Service Summary, WebBlocker Summary, and Most Popular Domains.

For more information about how to specify which reports are generated by Dimension, see Schedule Reports.

For more information about how to specify which reports are generated by the WSM Report Server, see Configure Server Settings for the Report Server.
