Salesforce is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform that helps businesses manage their customer data, sales processes, marketing efforts, customer service interactions, and more. This guide describes how to integrate Salesforce with CloudDR.

Prerequisites
To configure this integration you must have a Salesforce System Administrator user account or you can grant a Standard user account with REST and APEX API access.
If you use a Standard user account, CloudDR cannot show discovered applications. You must use a System Administrator account to view information about discovered applications.
To grant API access:
- Log in to Salesforce as an administrator.
- From Setup, select Permission Sets.
- Click New.
- Add a name for the permission set and select the appropriate user license.
- Click Save.
- In the System section, select System Permissions.
- Click Edit.
- Select API Enabled.
- To enable MFA enrollment, select Manage User and Manage MFA via API.
- Click Save.
- On the Permission Sets page, select the permission set you just created.
- Click Manage Assignments.
- Click Add Assignments.
- Select the user or users account that requires API access.
- Click Assign.
Configure the Salesforce Integration in CloudDR
To configure the Salesforce integration in CloudDR:
- In WatchGuard Cloud, select Configure > CloudDR.
- Select the Integrations tab.
- (Service Providers) From the Select Integrations View drop-down list, select Add Integrations.
- In the Salesforce widget, click Add.
- Click Start Integration.
- To give CloudDR access to Salesforce, in the OAuth section, click Sign In with Salesforce, and log in with the account identified in the prerequisites.
- Click Finish.
