Dropbox Integration with WatchGuard CloudDR

Dropbox is a cloud-based file hosting and synchronization service that enables users to store, share, and access documents, photos, and videos across multiple devices. Dropbox creates a secure, automatically synced folder on your computer. This guide describes how to integrate Dropbox with CloudDR.

Prerequisites

To configure this integration, you must have:

  • A Dropbox Standard subscription, or higher.
  • A Dropbox account user with required privileges, or a Team Admin role.

Required Privileges for the Dropbox Account

Scope Use
team_info.read View basic information about your team including names, user count, and team settings
members.read View your team membership
groups.read View your team group membership
sessions.list View the sessions, devices, and apps of your team
events.read View the activity log of your team
files.metadata.read View information about your Dropbox files and folders [MetaData]

Configure the Dropbox Integration in CloudDR

To integrate Dropbox with CloudDR:

  1. In WatchGuard Cloud, select Configure > CloudDR.
  2. Select the Integrations tab.
  3. (Service Providers) From the Select Integrations View drop-down list, select Add Integrations.

  1. In the Dropbox widget, click Add.
  2. Click Start Integration.
  3. On the OAuth page, click Sign In With Dropbox and log in to Dropbox as an administrator.
  4. Click Finish.
