Confluence Integration with WatchGuard CloudDR

Confluence is a collaborative workspace that enables teams to create, share, and organize content in one centralized location. Confluence can be used as an internal wiki, documentation repository, and collaborative content system that supports real-time editing, structured organization, and cross-team communication. This guide describes how to integrate Confluence with CloudDR.

Prerequisites
To configure this integration, you must have:
- A Confluence account user with Org Admin, Confluence Admin, and Confluence User roles, and all internal user domains verified in Atlassian Guard.
- An API token and API key for your account user.
To generate an API token for your account:
- Log in to your Atlassian account at https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens.
- Click Create API token.
- To add a label, click Create.
- To copy the generated API token, click Copy. Save the API token in a secure location.
To generate an API key for your account:
- Log in to your Atlassian account at https://admin.atlassian.com/.
- Select Settings > API keys.
- Click Create API Key.
- Select API key without scopes.
- Add a label and update the expiry date. Click Create.
- To copy the generated API key, click Copy. Save the API key in a secure location.
Configure the Confluence Integration in CloudDR
To integrate Confluence with CloudD:
- In WatchGuard Cloud, select Configure > CloudDR.
- Select the Integrations tab.
- (Service Providers) From the Select Integrations View drop-down list, select Add Integrations.

- In the Confluence widget, click Add.
- Click Start Integration.
- On the Namespace page, in the Namespace text box, enter the domain name for your Confluence instance. For example, if your Confluence instance URL is example.atlassian.net, enter example.
- Click Next.
- On the Email page, in the Email text box, enter the email address of the user used to create the API token.
- Click Next.
- On the API Token page, in the API Token text box, paste the API token you copied previously from your Confluence Profile page.
- On the API Key page, in the API Key text box, paste the API key you copied previously from your Atlassian Admin page.
- Click Next.
- On the Organization page, select the organization you want to integrate with.
- Click Submit.
