Autotask Integration with WatchGuard CloudDR

Autotask Professional Services Automation (PSA) is a cloud-based business management platform designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to help IT service teams manage their customers, tickets, technicians, contracts, projects, time tracking, billing, and service operations in one system. This guide describes how to integrate Autotask PSA with CloudDR.

Prerequisites

To configure this integration, you must have an Autotask account with API-only user privileges.

To generate an Autotask API-only user:

1. Log in to the Autotask Admin portal account as an administrator.
2. Select Admin > Account Settings & Users > Resources/User (HR) > Resources/Users.
3. Click New > New API User or open an existing API user.
4. Generate the API credentials of the API-only user.
   1. Click Generate Key (Username).
   2. Click Generate Secret (Password).

Copy and securely store the generated key and secret. The secret cannot be viewed again after you leave the page.

Configure the Autotask PSA Integration in CloudDR

To integrate Autotask PSA with CloudDR:

1. Select Configure > CloudDR.
2. Select Integrations > SaaS Services.
3. (Service Providers) Click Add Integration.
   1. Select the product you want to integrate.
   2. Click Next.
   3. Select the organization where you want to integrate the product.
   4. Click Start Integration.

4. In the Autotask PSA widget, click Add.
5. Click Start Integration.
6. On the Username page, enter the email address (key) of the Autotask API-Only account that you created.
7. Click Next.
8. In the Password text box, enter the password (secret) that you created.
9. Click Submit.
