Configure Dynamic DNS

If you have an account with a dynamic DNS (DDNS) provider, you can enable dynamic DNS on an external interface to maintain the association between your domain name and the dynamic IP address assigned to your device.

You can select to have the dynamic DNS provider use the IP address from your router or NAT device instead of the IP address of the external interface on your Firebox. For example, you might select this option if the external interface of your Firebox has an IP address in a private range.

The configuration options that appear depend on the provider that you select.

To configure dynamic DNS in WatchGuard Cloud, go to Configure Dynamic DNS.
