ConnectWise PSA Integration with WatchGuard CloudDR

ConnectWise is a Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool that helps IT service providers manage tickets, customers, billing, projects, and workflows in one centralized platform. This guide describes how to integrate ConnectWise PSA with CloudDR.

Prerequisites
To configure this integration, you must have:
- A ConnectWise PSA API Member account with required privileges.
- API keys that are created with the API Member account.

Generate a Custom Role
To generate a custom role in ConnectWise PSA:
- Log in to ConnectWise PSA with an admin account.
- From the navigation menu, select System > Security Roles.
- To add a new security role, click
.
The new role page opens. - In the Role ID text box, type a descriptive name for the role.
- To save the new role, click

The Security Modules for Role page opens.
Generate an API Member
To generate an API Member:
- From the navigation menu, select System > Members.
- Select the API Members tab.
- Click
and complete the required profile information:- Member ID — The unique identifier for the account.
- Member Name — The name of the member.
- Role ID — The ID you previously created.
- Level 1 — Typically set to Corporate (Level 1).
- Click Save.
Generate an API Key Pair
- In the newly created API member profile, select the API Keys tab.
- Click
. - Enter a description for the key.
- Click Save.
Copy the private and public keys and store them securely. The keys cannot be viewed again.
Configure the ConnectWise PSA Integration in CloudDR
Service Providers can configure integration in CloudDR for a single organization or for all of their managed organizations. If you select a managed Service Provider from Account Manager, you can configure integration for all organizations managed by the Service Provider.
Before you begin, select the account you want to configure integration for:
- To configure integration for all organizations, from Account Manager, select Overview.
- To configure integration for a single organization, from Account Manager, select the account you want to integrate the application in CloudDR.
To integrate ConnectWise PSA with CloudDR, from WatchGuard Cloud:
- Select Configure > CloudDR.
- Select Integrations > SaaS Services.
- (Service Providers) From the Select Integrations View drop-down list, select Add Integrations.

- In the ConnectWise PSA widget, click Add.
- Click Start Integration.
- On the Environment page, from the Environment drop-down list, select the portal URL.
- Click Next.
- On the Company page, in the Enter your Company text box, enter the name of the ConnectWise PSA company you used to log in.
- Click Next.
- On the Public Key page, in the Public Key text box, enter the public API key that you previously created.
- Click Next.
- On the Private Key page, in the Private Key text box, enter the private API key that you previously created.
- Click Submit.
