This page lists updates to the WatchGuard NDR Smart Alerts API.

Version 2.0.0: 6 August 2026

  • Version 1 of the WatchGuard NDR Smart Alerts API is deprecated and will no longer accept requests after 6 August 2027. Although v1 endpoints continue to accept requests, we strongly recommend that you use Version 2 of the WatchGuard NDR Smart Alerts API.
  • Version 2.0.0 of the WatchGuard NDR Smart Alerts API includes these endpoints:
    • /{v2}/accounts/{accountId}/smartalerts/{smartAlertId} — Get a Smart Alert
    • /{v2}/accounts/{accountId}/smartalerts/{smartAlertId}/close — Close a Smart Alert
  • The Smart Alert resource path segment is updated from smartalert to smartalerts.
  • The tenant_name query parameter is renamed to tenantName.

Previous Versions

  • The product name ThreatSync+ NDR is now WatchGuard NDR in all API documentation.
  • The WatchGuard NDR Smart Alerts API URL is updated from https://{base API URL}/rest/threatsyncplus/smartalerts/v1/ to https://{base API URL}/rest/watchguard-ndr/smartalerts/v1/.
  • Initial release.
