When you purchase and activate a subscription license for WatchGuard Cloud products, the license is automatically added to your WatchGuard Cloud account.
After you activate a subscription license, you can add any number of users or endpoints to your account and your managed accounts. Managed accounts can now add any number of users or endpoints to their account. You can limit the maximum number of users or endpoints for an account. Subscription Billing
With a subscription license, you receive an invoice monthly. On the last day of each month, WatchGuard Cloud calculates your subscription usage for each product across your account and applies volume discounts. Volume discounts for subscriptions are determined based on your highest usage for any product line, regardless of license type. For example, if you have 200 total licenses in the Endpoint Security product line (100 Endpoint Security 360 term licenses and 100 Endpoint Security Elite subscription licenses), and you add 30 FireCloud subscription licenses, you get the same volume discount for your FireCloud licenses as you get for your 200 total Endpoint Security licenses.
