Access Points and Account Management
Applies To: WatchGuard Cloud-managed Access Points (AP130, AP230W, AP330, AP332CR, AP430CR, AP432)
With WatchGuard Cloud, you can view and manage your access point devices in one place.
- Subscriber operators use Device Manager to view and manage their devices. For more information, go to About WatchGuard Cloud Device Manager (Subscribers).
- Service Provider operators use Account Manager to navigate their managed Service Provider and Subscriber accounts and devices. For more information, go to About WatchGuard Cloud Account Manager (Service Providers).
When you select an account, folder, or device, the page displays content specific to the selection.
Monitor Devices
When a Service Provider selects Overview > Monitor > Devices (or a delegated account), the Monitor Devices summary page opens. For more information, go to About the Monitor Devices Overview Page.
If you select an account or folder that includes a device, the Device Summary page shows a summary of status for all devices, and the detailed status for each device. For more information, go to About the Device Summary Page.
Configure Devices
When a Service Provider selects Overview > Configure > Devices (or a delegated account), the Configure Devices summary page opens. For more information, go to About the Configure Devices Overview Page.
If you select an account or folder that includes a device, the Device Settings page opens. The information on the Device Settings page is different when you select a device, folder, or Subscriber account with multiple devices. Select Access Point tab and then select an individual device from the table.
When you select a device, you can review detailed status for the device, enable logging, and remove the device from WatchGuard Cloud. For more information, go to Configure Device Settings in WatchGuard Cloud.
If you select an account or folder that does not have an activated device, the Get Started page opens to activate a device at WatchGuard.com. For more information, go to Get Started — Add a Device to WatchGuard Cloud.
Your operator role determines what you can see and do in WatchGuard Cloud. Your role must have the Devices permission to view or configure this feature. For more information, go to Manage WatchGuard Cloud Operators and Roles.
