FireCloud License Expiration
Applies To: FireCloud Internet Access, FireCloud Total Access
After an FireCloud termed license expires, you have a seven-day grace period when existing FireCloud users can still connect and use the FireCloud service. When an account is in the grace period, FireCloud Total Access configuration options are not shown in the UI.
- If you renew your FireCloud license before the grace period ends, no further action is required.
- If you do not renew your FireCloud license before the grace period ends, your FireCloud service stops. If you have FireCloud Total Access, all existing Gateway and private resource configurations are permanently removed.
When your FireCloud service stops, users cannot connect to the FireCloud service. WatchGuard Cloud operators can still log in to the FireCloud management UI, but cannot make changes until you renew your license.
If you are a Service Provider with multiple licenses, the most recently connected users up to your remaining license count can still connect to the FireCloud service. Users in excess of your license count are no longer licensed, and you must remove existing licensed users before they can connect and use the FireCloud service.
After you renew your FireCloud license, service resumes and users can connect and use the FireCloud service.
For accounts with an active subscription license, termed licenses that expire do not cause your service to stop. When a termed license expires, users in excess of your termed licenses are billed as subscription users.
