Clone a Device Configuration Template
If you have devices that use similar configurations, but with small differences, you can clone (copy) a template and then customize the cloned template. This enables you to make one template, make a clone for each variation, and then change the cloned templates.
From the WatchGuard System Manager Device Management tab:
- Expand Device Configuration Templates.
- Right-click the Device Configuration Template you want to clone, and select Clone.
The Change Name dialog box appears. - In the Name text box, type a new name for the cloned template.
- Click OK.
The cloned template appears in the Device Configuration Templates list. - Select the new template.
The template configuration page appears. - Update the template settings.
