"I can't think of a better way to kick off 2015 than with Network World recognizing our Firebox T10 as one of the best UTM firewall solutions that represents ‘great value for the money.' It was the first to provide enterprise-class UTM security features to SOHO environments, and it delivers unmatched security intelligence and visibility through Dimension," said Dave R. Taylor, vice president of corporate and product strategy at WatchGuard Technologies, noting that this recognition continues a streak of multiple awards the T10 has received worldwide.

The review also goes on to highlight the products solid firewall features and its ability to handle advanced persistent threats (APT) and data loss prevention situations. It notes the number of custom application behavior controls has been significantly enhanced and that WatchGuard offers excellent VPN support for L2TP, SSL (using OpenVPN) and IPsec VPN types.

WatchGuard tied with Check Point for the top spot in the review.
