Fireware Requirements
This topic lists the minimum and recommended Fireware versions for cloud-managed Fireboxes and locally-managed Fireboxes with cloud reporting.
The Fireware version your new Firebox was manufactured with is printed on a sticker on the Firebox packaging. The Fireware version originally manufactured on the device also appears in the Device Information section of the Product Details page in the WatchGuard Portal.
Cloud-Managed Fireboxes
To manage a Firebox configuration from WatchGuard Cloud, you must add the Firebox to WatchGuard Cloud as a cloud-managed device. You can manage a cloud-managed Firebox from WatchGuard Cloud only.
These are the minimum and recommended Fireware versions for cloud-managed Fireboxes:

Locally-Managed Fireboxes with Cloud Reporting
To monitor locally-managed Fireboxes from WatchGuard Cloud, you add the Firebox to your WatchGuard Cloud account and select Cloud Reporting with Local Management. From WatchGuard Cloud, you can monitor device status, run reports, and see Firebox event notifications. You can also monitor live status including traffic logs, authentication, networks, geolocation, and VPN. You cannot manage a locally-managed Firebox configuration from WatchGuard Cloud.
