Configure the WatchGuard Agent Remotely for Endpoint Security

Network administrators can use the Endpoint Security management UI to configure the WatchGuard Agent on the computers on their network, including:

• Define the computer's role on the network and how it relates to other protected workstations and servers. The WatchGuard Agent installed on the Windows computers on your network can have three roles. For more information, go to:
  • Designate a Computer as a WatchGuard Proxy (Windows Computers)
  • Designate a Discovery Computer
  • Designate a Cache Computer (Windows computers)
• Protect the endpoint software from unauthorized tampering by hackers and advanced threats (APTs). For more information, go to Configure Security Against Tampering (Windows and Linux computers).
