Channel History Report Details
The Channel History report includes a graph of channel change activity for each access point radio for the selected time range. You can perform these actions:
- Click
to download a CSV list of channel change events. - Click
to filter the list. You can filter the list by Access Point, Previous Channel, New Channel, and Reason. - In the Search text box, type a search query to search all columns in the channel history report.
The table includes this data on channel changes:
- Time — The time of the channel change event.
- Access Point (Folder View) — The device that changed its channel.
- Previous Channel — The previous channel used by the access point.
After an access point reboot or a configuration deployment, the previous channel value might show the default values of channel 1 for 2.4 GHz and channel 36 for 5 GHz instead of the actual previous channel. This occurs because the previous channel data is lost when the wireless interfaces reload.
- New Channel — The new channel selected by the access point.
- Reason — The reason for the channel change, such as Auto Selection, Manual Selection, Device Reboot, and Radar Detection.
Channel auto-selection events are not logged if an SSID is enabled based on an SSID schedule.
