Quota Rules

A quota rule defines the users and groups and a quota action to apply to these users. You must apply the quota rule to a policy to enable the rule.

To configure quota rules, from Fireware Web UI:

  1. Select Firewall > Quotas.
  2. Select the Enable bandwidth and time quotas check box.

To add a quota rule:

  1. Click Add.

  1. In the Name text box, type a name for this rule.
  2. In the Description text box, type on a optional description for this rule.
  3. To enable a bandwidth quota, select the Bandwidth check box, then set the quota value in MB per day.
  4. To enable a time quota, select the Time check box, then set the time value in minutes per day.
  5. From the Quota Action drop-down list, select a quota action for this rule.
    You can add or edit actions to create a new action or edit an existing action.
  6. Click OK.

To configure quota rules, from Policy Manager:

  1. Select Setup > Actions > Quotas.
  2. Select the Enable bandwidth and time quotas check box.
