Generate Configuration Reports for Managed Devices

From your WatchGuard Management Server, you can generate the Firebox Configuration Report for any of your managed devices. The Firebox Configuration Report includes a summary of the device configuration file settings for your Fireboxes in an easy-to-read, printable format.

The Firebox Configuration Report includes an overview of the contents of the configuration file for your managed devices. It can be a useful tool to review your security policy implementation with your organization’s management team. The Firebox Configuration Report includes information about most configuration settings.

The Firebox Configuration Report for a managed device is divided into six main sections:

  • Network — Network configuration settings
  • Firewall — Firewall policies and proxy action settings, traffic management, SNAT, quotas, Mobile Security, and other network settings
  • Subscription Services — Settings for all Subscription Services configured on the Firebox
  • Authentication — Authentication settings, hotspot settings, configured users and groups, Single Sign-On settings, and Terminal Services settings
  • VPN — Branch Office VPN and Mobile VPN settings
  • System — System configuration, aliases, logging, NTP, SNMP, logging, FireCluster and global settings

You can generate the Firebox Configuration Report for one or more managed devices from a device folder, for a single managed device, or from the Configuration History of any managed device. After you generate the Configuration Report, you can view the file, print the file for distribution, or open the folder where the .HTML file is saved.
