AuthPoint Wizards

AuthPoint wizards are interactive walkthroughs that show you how to configure AuthPoint multi-factor authentication (MFA). Each wizard walks you through a section of the AuthPoint UI and helps you to configure one or more features. After you complete a wizard, you can edit your configuration to change the settings.

Get Started with AuthPoint

Follow the steps in this wizard to configure and test MFA with AuthPoint. This wizard shows you how to create a group, create a user and activate your token, set up the IdP portal, and log in to test MFA.

Configure MFA for a VPN

Follow the steps in this wizard to configure multi-factor authentication for a VPN. This wizard shows you how to create a RADIUS client resource, configure and install the AuthPoint Gateway, and set an authentication policy.

Sync Users from Active Directory

Follow the steps in this wizard to configure AuthPoint to sync user accounts from Active Directory. This wizard shows you how to create an external identity, configure and install the AuthPoint Gateway, and create a group sync to sync users and groups from Active Directory.

Configure MFA for Computers and Servers

Follow the steps in this wizard to configure multi-factor authentication for a computer or server. This wizard shows you how to create a Logon app resource, configure and install the AuthPoint agent for Windows or macOS, and set an authentication policy.

Import Hardware Tokens

Follow the steps in this wizard to import hardware tokens to your AuthPoint account. This wizard shows you how to import WatchGuard hardware tokens and third-party hardware tokens, and how to activate and assign hardware tokens to a user.

To start a wizard:

  1. Log in to WatchGuard Cloud.
  2. Select Configure > AuthPoint. If you have a Service Provider account, you must select an account from Account Manager.
  3. Select Wizards.
  4. Click the name of a wizard to start.
    AuthPoint loads the relevant page in the UI and the wizard opens.

Wizards do not save your progress. If you close a wizard, you must start again from the beginning.
