View Recently Associated Clients

In the Recently Associated Clients section, you can view a list of clients that recently associated to the selected AP. The criteria for recent association is either 4 hours or 100,000 clients (this is the total number of associations and not per device). Client details such as client status (active/inactive), client name, SSID, and last detected at (which shows the date and time or "present," meaning the association is currently active) are displayed.

Information related to recently associated clients is available in specific deployments only.

View AP Utilization

In the AP Utilization section, you can see a graphical representation of the percentage of AP utilization over the last 4 hours. The AP Utilization section is displayed only for authorized APs. The device keeps a track of the cumulative time occupancy as a percentage of the total scan time of the channel every 15 minutes.

View AP Associated Clients

In the AP Associated Clients section, you can view a graphical representation of the clients associated with the AP over the last 4 hours. The device samples the number of client associations with the AP every 15 minutes.

View AP Traffic

In the AP traffic section, you can view a graphical representation of AP traffic over the last 4 hours.  The AP Traffic section appears only for authorized clients. Devices that see the AP report data traffic sent and received by the AP every 15 minutes. The channel rotating device spends only a percentage of the total time on any given channel. This parameter typically underestimates the actual traffic by a factor equal to the total number of channels scanned by the device radio. For example, if the device scans 30 channels in all, the measured traffic would be 1/30th of the actual traffic. However, if the traffic contains burst traffic, straightforward scaling cannot be easily applied.

View AP Average Data Rate

In the AP Average Data Rate section, you can view a graphical representation of the average data rate in Mbps of the AP over the last 12 hours. The AP Average Data Rate section is displayed only for authorized APs. Devices that detect the client track the transmission rates of the data frames in the AP's BSS and report weighted average transmission rate over every 15 minutes.
