Troubleshooting

You can automatically capture a packet trace when client connectivity failures are detected on an SSID. You can analyze these packet traces with Discover to troubleshoot connectivity issues with your APs and clients.

Five of the latest packet traces are stored for each client and these traces are retained for a maximum of seven days. The automatic packet capture option is only supported for 802.11ac devices.

To enable automatic packet capture:

  1. Select Configuration > Device Configuration > SSID Profiles.
  2. Choose an existing SSID profile or add a new SSID profile.
  3. Expand the Troubleshooting section, then select Enable Automatic Packet Capture.
