Visible VLANs

Applies To: Wi-Fi Cloud-managed Access Points (AP120, AP125, AP225W, AP320, AP322, AP325, AP327X, AP420)

The Visible VLANs widget displays details about the VLANs visible to the AP. The "Monitored" status indicates that the VLAN is being monitored by the AP. A "Not monitored" status indicates that it is being monitored by another AP.

You can filter the display, and switch to full screen mode using the icons at the top-right of the page. For more information, see Table Actions for Monitor Pages.

The VLANs that can be seen by the AP are listed depending on these factors:

  • If the VLAN is used by the device to communicate on the communication VLAN. The entry will be displayed with an asterisk.
  • If you added the ID of the VLAN when you configured the SSID.
  • If you enabled Auto VLAN monitoring on the AP, the active VLAN is monitored by the AP with the highest MAC address. The monitored VLAN ID is added to the monitoring APs list of VLANs and the VLAN status is set to "Monitored".
