Operators of a Service Provider account can see the Subscriber view of managed Subscriber accounts and managed Service Provider accounts. This allows Service Providers to help configure services for their managed accounts.
The operator role assigned to WatchGuard Cloud users determines what level of access they have when they view a managed account. Some operators have read–only permissions, while others may have edit permissions for certain areas. All actions are logged and recorded.
To see the Subscriber view for a managed account:
- From the navigation menu, select Subscribers or Service Providers.
- In the row of the account you want to view, click and select Pivot to Subscriber View.
Subscriber view opens for the account.
When you are in the Subscriber view for a managed account, you can view and edit the account's services if your operator permissions allow. Use the ribbon at the top of the page to return to the Service Provider view or select a different account to view.
You can never see or edit the accounts managed by a tenant Service Provider account.
If you click to open the My Account drop-down while in the Subscriber view, your user name is listed but the account name reflects the account you are in. If you click My Account, the Administration page opens for the account you are in, not your own account.
