As a Service Provider, WatchGuard Cloud is where you create and manage customer accounts and allocate users. Unlike Subscriber accounts, operators from a Service Provider account see the Service Provider view when they log in to WatchGuard Cloud.
The Service Provider view is used to manage customer accounts and inventory. It has a dashboard that gives you an overview of important information and pages to see your managed Subscriber and Service Provider accounts.
From the Service Provider view, you can also pivot to see the Subscriber view of your own account or any managed account. The Subscriber view is where you configure security services and see reports. Operators from a Subscriber account see the Subscriber view when they log in to WatchGuard Cloud.
Service Provider accounts have a Subscriber view for their own account. This is where you configure and manage your own security services.
WatchGuard Cloud is a multi-tenant, multi-tier system. Each Service Provider account can create and manage many customer accounts. Each managed customer account has its own WatchGuard Cloud account and its own operators.
You can create accounts in up to three tiers (Tier 1 Service Provider > Tier 2 Service Provider > Subscriber).
A Service Provider can see the Subscriber view for each managed account and can configure security services and see reports for those accounts. For Service Provider accounts, the parent Service Provider can only see the Subscriber view for their customer's Service Provider account, not accounts managed by the customer.
Data is not shared between managed accounts.
As a Service Provider, you create accounts for each of your customers in your WatchGuard Cloud Service Provider account. For information about how to add managed customer accounts, see Add a New Managed Account.
After you create a managed customer account, you can allocate users from your inventory to each account. For more information, see User Allocation.
